Description
HeadShop 13 is a Standalone software used to automatically create 3D heads from a single photo. It works as a plug-in inside Daz Studio with all Genesis 3 and 8 figures, and outputs a modified morph OBJ file and 4096 x 4096 texture files.
HeadShop 11 works with the following figures:
- Genesis 3 Male and Female
- Genesis 8 Male and Female
HeadShop 13 requires a Macintosh personal computer or laptop with the following minimal requirements:

The tutorial…documentation is lacking. The autodots have no way to know which ones your moving when they are improperly aligned. even after moving autodots to better positions, no way to get a new preview if they have improved the capture. There is no best practice documented on what size DPI image to use. I have hiRes images that when loaded say no heads detected. not even worth the sale price.

There is ample reference to autodots (in the “how-to” video, in the manual), but you are warned that it is advanced feature and not essential to create a successful project. Regarding dpi (or resolution), there is no optimum – but you need to understand that not all photos work equally well.
