The journalistic standards of non-fiction writing need not apply here—strenuous research is replaced by speculation, scientific conjectures by pure fiction. In other words, you are holding a highly unreliable piece of work and nothing in it should be taken at face value.
Similarly, the author is not an art historian, nor a journalist (although he has briefly been both), but an artist. He is not familiar with the craft and discipline of scientific or journalistic inquiry and could not be bothered to learn these crafts. He is an opinionated individual who conveniently substitutes solid evidence with vague theories that he makes up as he goes along.”
